My favorite of his hits! Feb 07, 2002
By Roy Levins Out of all the greatest hits collections I truly think this collection is my favorite. These are some of his best songs. You have so many nice songs its amazing like Ace in the hole,Babys gotten good at goodbye,Baby Blue,Drinking Champagne and so many more just 10 great songs. This is great but I do say that any fan of this cd really should buy the real albums these songs came off of because I think those are his best albums. Your hearing his hits here from 1988-1991. Great collection if you are little strapped for cash right now and cannot afford the box set.

It Was Great Mar 10, 1999 I thought that it was the best work that george has ever done. To think that he still had time to sing.

A classic set of 10 hits from the best in country music Oct 14, 2001
By jasenao Ten Strait Hits was the great George Strait's third compilation of hits. Seven of the ten songs included are from the albums Livin' It Up and Beyond The Blue Neon. But what all of the songs have in common is that they're great for George Strait fans, or for any fan of country music of the late 80s and early 90s. There's not any upbeat or 'fast' songs here, just good and slow easy listening tunes. I have to admit that this isn't my favorite of George Strait's greatest hits albums, but it is a great one nonetheless. My favorites are "Baby Blue," "Love Without End Amen," and "What's Going On In Your World." For true George Strait fans, there is a two page success story of George Strait included in the cassette's booklet. When you read it, you'll learn some interesting facts such as the mention of many of George Strait's multiple awards, how he almost gave up on his dream of making it as a country singer to begin with, how former President Bush was a fan of George Strait, and more. Ten Strait Hits covers the January 1988 through the first week of 1991 era of George Strait. If you're a George Strait fan or even if you're just a casual country music listener, I recommend getting this one.

Title Says It All Dec 21, 1999
By J. R. Reynolds The title says it all...10 strait hits from the unstoppable Texan. "Famous Last Words of a Fool" is my personal favorite Strait song ever, and "Baby Blue" and "Baby's Getting Good at Goodbye" are almost as beautiful. "I've Come to Expect it from You" is one of Strait's most atypical songs. First-time listeners might find "Overnight Success" and "What's Going on in Your World" too be too slow but they grow on you.
